Mental Health Awareness Week 2025
The theme of Mental Health Awareness Week this year was Community.
Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. We thrive when we have strong connections with other people and supportive communities that remind us, we are not alone. Communities can provide a sense of belonging, safety, support in hard times, and give us a sense purpose.
To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week’s theme ‘community’, we held a community afternoon inviting families to join us for sports, food and positive vibes. It was a fantastic celebration of connection and wellbeing. The children vs. parents cricket match brought plenty of smiles and team spirit, and our Celebration Assembly was a heartwarming end to the day. It was a wonderful reminder of the strength and joy within our Finstock community.
