Cherry Class
Autumn 1: Safari Dance
Oak and Cherry classes put on a truly amazing Express Event this term, showcasing their wonderful dance routines with energy and joy. Families were warmly invited to watch performances of Moving the Dancing Days Way and We’re All Going on Safari, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement.

One of the highlights was seeing families join in with our Safari dance. Balancing like a flamingo proved to be the trickiest move, but everyone loved jumping like monkeys together!

The event concluded with the spectacular masterpiece of The Gingerbread Man dance. Children created their own imaginative actions for this performance, making it a unique and memorable finale.
It was a celebration of creativity, movement, and community spirit — a perfect way to end the term!

Summer 2025: Animal Safari
For the Cherry Class express event this term, we came together to talk about some of our favourite lessons from our projects ‘Animal safari’ and ‘Creep Crawl and Wriggle’.

We looked at photos of what animal masks we made, talked about our favourite animals, sang and joined in with actions from the song ‘Walking in the jungle’ and finished off with a mini beast hunt.
