Anti-Bullying Week 2025
Oak Class
This week Oak Class joined in Odd Socks Day to celebrate how unique and special we all are. The children wore their brightest, silliest odd socks and even designed their own pairs to show off their individuality!
We explored the theme “Power for Good” and discovered that everyone has the power to show kindness and make the right choices. Together, we talked about having the confidence to speak out if we see something unkind, and how even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Oak Class showed that being different is something to be proud of, and that kindness is the strongest power of all.

Pupil voice:
What is bullying?
Jaxon: it is being rude and disrespectful
Arlo: Bullying isn't nice
Rufus: It is pushing and hitting
Rapha: Snatching from other people
How can we spread our power for Good?
Jaxon: stepping in if we someone being mean
Rufus: Don't walk away is you see bullying
Casi: Be kind even if people are different

Cherry Class
As part of anti-bullying week, we have been learning all about kindness, friendship, and working together. Our focus has been on helping the children understand how their words and actions can make others feel, and how we can all help to create a happy, friendly classroom.
We explored sharing and why it is such an important part of playing together. The children practised taking turns, offering toys to others, and using kind words during play.
To develop friendships and teamwork, we took part in a range of fun team games where the children had to work together, listen to each other, and celebrate everyone’s efforts. These activities helped us learn that we are stronger when we support one another.
Throughout the week, we talked about what kindness looks like—helping a friend, using gentle hands, giving someone a smile, or asking others to join in our play.

Pupil Voice
Having discussed the importance of kindness, the children then looked out for opportunities to be kind!
'Look, we're helping each other' Robyn
'I was kind to (child's name) because he wanted the play doh and I passed it to him' Luca
'We're sharing' Martha
What would you do if someone was being unkind?
'Tell my mummy and tell you too' Robyn
Cedar Class
Cedar class engaged with antibullying week and focused on the Power of Good. They discussed how bullying can happen and what they can do to prevent it. They then wrote down how they could use their power of good this week.

Monday was odd socks day to recognise being inclusive and reminding us that everyone is unique.

Pupil Voice:
"Bullying has many different roles included in it and those roles can change depending on the situation.” Arran
“I enjoyed learning about the different roles and understanding how I can use my power of good to help people.” Lenny
