Individual Liberty
Individual Liberty is the right to make our own choices, as long as they do not impact the rights of others. Each class explored this in a meaningful way.
Oak and Cherry Class
In Oak and Cherry class, we explored the value of individual liberty and what it means to have the freedom to make choices. The children engaged in activities like selecting their favourite things, discussing why making choices is important, and creating colourful posters about individual liberty.

Here’s what some of the children said about the afternoon:
“I liked picking my favorite food because it made me happy!” – Aurelia
“We learned that everyone’s choices can be different, and that’s okay.” – John
“It’s important to choose for yourself because it shows who you are.” – Sienna
“Making the posters was fun because we could be creative in our own way.” – Casi

We’re proud of how the children reflected on the importance of choice and individuality!
Cedar Class
Cedar class were creating posters for what individual liberty meant to them. They showed their understanding for how they have the right to make choices without harming anyone else or taking away their individual liberty.

All classes ended the afternoon with a presentation on their reflections from the day and what individual liberty means to them. They presented to families to develop Individual Liberty across the Finstock community.
