Headteacher's Welcome

LDO aWelcome to Finstock C of E Primary School.

Finstock C of E Primary School is at the heart of the village of Finstock having been established on this site in 1860, although there has been a school in Finstock since 1832.  Many generations of families have attended Finstock and as a small village school we pride ourselves on our friendly, family atmosphere.  The children truly are at the heart of everything we do and their education and welfare are always of the utmost importance to us.

Our key Christian values of Challenge, Respect, Inspiration and Belief are at the centre of everything we do and we strive to achieve high academic standards as well as offer opportunities for cultural and sporting activities.  As a strong team of hard-working, caring staff, united governors and motivated and enthusiastic pupils, the school continues to thrive and develop further each year.  We have the added advantage of being part of the Mill Academy giving us access to a much larger range of expertise and resources than many primary schools.

All staff work hard to make sure that we offer a welcoming and safe environment where children are inspired to learn and achieve their full potential in all they do.  This not only means academic success, but we also strongly believe in celebrating every achievement, encouraging children to grow into well-educated, well balanced and independent individuals.

Please spend some time exploring our website to see what we have to offer, or phone the office to arrange a time to come and visit and experience first hand why we are so proud of our wonderful school.
