World Book Day

Cherry Class
We had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day! The children were excited to bring in their favourite books and share them with the class. Among the fantastic selection were classics such as 101 Dalmatians, The Wind in the Willows, and Ten Princesses. The children enjoyed talking about why they chose their books and listening to their friends’ favourites, too.
A special highlight of the day was when Mrs Jones read a selection of dinosaur stories, which had the whole class captivated. It was a brilliant day filled with imagination, storytelling, and a shared love of reading.

Oak Class
Oak had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day, especially as they arrived at school in their pyjamas, ready for a day filled with stories. The classroom felt extra cosy as everyone curled up with a book and enjoyed the chance to relax and read together. One of the highlights was listening to a story read by Mr Charlton, which had the whole class completely absorbed. The children also loved sharing the favourite books they had brought from home, proudly talking about the characters, adventures and illustrations they enjoy most. It was a warm, joyful celebration of reading, imagination and the stories that bring us together.

Pupil Voice
