Academy Appointed

I have worked with children and young people for nearly forty years – having initially studied Business Management I moved across to Social Work and subsequently spent many years working in, and leading, a number of community projects, including Family Centres and Children’s Centres in recent years. I have a strong belief in the value of learning and knowledge as part of a lifelong process – and the importance of ensuring well rounded learning opportunities from Early Years onwards.  In addition to my Governor roles I am active in a number of other community activities and have been part of FOFS in the past.  Any spare time is taken up with a range of interests, including drama, photography, cooking and most things outdoors.
